A proper independent pub, The Seadog is a family-run boozer with a touch of Irish charm - Vibes are laid-back and friendly, with an emphasis on good beer, great food, local community, and great craic!
The Seadog has taken on many different guises over the last 10 decades, it narrowly escaped being converted into flats and then fell under disrepair during a time it lay dormant for numerous years.
In April 2022 publicans Holly & Joseph bought the building and gave it a new lease of life. The Seadog is once again a bustling railway pub and cosy guest house that acts as a welcome beacon to travellers arriving into Hastings, as well as a community space popular with locals.
